Pup-Cycle: Giving to Dogs in Need
In December 2019, we created our Pup-Cycle campaign, which not only looks to limit waste by recycling collars, but also further supports dog homes by providing them with dog collars. As an extension to our Puppy Pack offer, we encourage customers to return their outgrown puppy collars to us rather than throw them away. We repair/up-cycle the collar where necessary and then donate them to a dog home in the UK. Below are details of our donations so far.
How to return your Puppy Collar:
Simply pop it in the post to Stocky & Dee, 54 Timber Bush, Edinburgh, EH66QH. Please include a note with your name and email address and we will send over your £5 voucher upon receipt. Thank you!
Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home
Our first Pup-Cycle donation went to the Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home. As we are now based in Edinburgh, we looked to start with a local charity and these guys were the first that came to mind. Established in 1883, this home has helped thousands of animals, and although our collar donation is a drop in the ocean for them, we hope the collars will bring some happiness to a few pups in need.

The Home was founded in 1889 by Mrs Susan Murray as a place of refuge and shelter for stray and abandoned dogs and cats in the city and county of Aberdeen. This continues to be a central role for the Home with around 1000 such animals passing through each year.
